A moment in Thought

I had to share this image. I have just purchased a Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400. I cannot believe how smooth the graduations are between shadow and highlights. It helps so much with the final image

Thankyou for your comments evryone. I have made some adjustments to this image now with some slight cropping off the bottom and just a tad more dodging and burning! I do love this image thou... it has a feel of the 50-60 style portraits!Ronald Balthazor November 17, 2003

A beautiful portrait with a great angle, Adam! Love your choice of Black/White. Just super! Many congratulations on your Second Place Win!Piper Lehman November 19, 2003
Adam, this is beautiful. Love the angle and pose! I have the Minolta Dimage Scan Elite F-2900, and it has been a great scanner also.Suggestion from a woman to a man who might not notice these things: You might consider tidying up the 'bulge' on the back of her left arm with a tiny pinch in PS. Also, the girl's belly-button shadow makes her tummy look a little pudgy. This is just because of the type of material of the dress and the angle of the camera. I'll bet she would appreciate a dodge&burn job here as well.
Excellent shot though. I love the 'shimmer' of the tones and lighting. #274292
