Orphan Elephants - David Sheldrick Orphanage [Contest Pre Finalists February 2019]

This baby orphan was one of many raised by hand at the David Sheldrick Orphanage in Nairobi's National Park. It along with the other orphans is following a Keeper back to the nursery after their bottle feeding, which is open to the public. Many orphans are released back into the wild after 3-4 years at the orphanage when they are no longer dependent on their keepers for milk..
