Ohhhh, do I ever like the black and white on this one! #1542947Dale Hardin September 02, 2013
Now that's what I call a mirror lake. Excellent choice for the bk and wht Jeff. #10831070Stephen Shoff September 02, 2013
Well done, Jeff. #10831092Susan Williams September 03, 2013
Beautifully composed and love the B&W, Jeff. #10831489Michael Kelly September 03, 2013
I love reflection shots and this is a good one. Great comp! I wish there was a better sky for the shot, but we have to take what we get. I also think B&W was a good choice for this one. #10831895Elaine Hessler September 03, 2013
This is really great Jeff. The sky doesn't bother me at all. I like how the edge of the paddle boards go right up to the edge of the reflected mountains. And I also like how your lens stretches the boards a little bit-not sure why, but I like it! #10831950Jeff E Jensen September 03, 2013
Thanks, everyone!Mike, I agree, a better sky would have been nice. This is in Grand Tetons and there is a pretty good fire to the East, so it was pretty hazy and smokey.
This looks pretty good in color, but black and white really put it over the top for me. #10832240

Exactly what we were up against. Even so, the Tetons were beautiful. I can only imagine how they are in spring and fall. I'd include winter but will probably not be heading that way in the winter. Which lake was this? great shot, BTW! #10832244Jeff E Jensen September 03, 2013
Debbie, this is String Lake which sits between Jenny and Leigh. We walked this trail Sunday evening and has planned on walking around Jenny on Monday, but the pouring rain convinced us otherwise. #10832247Debbra Bailey September 04, 2013
I love this Jeff! One for your wall :) #10833183Kalena Randall September 04, 2013

They have all said what deserved to be said Jeff. And yes, B&W was the way to go. Excellent my friend. #10833883Jeff E Jensen September 05, 2013
Thanks, Peter. And, I mentioned Tetons, but this is String Lake. #10833902Debbie E. Payne September 05, 2013
Jeff - I think we went to Leigh Lake and I saw a 2 year old paddling in his own little canoe. Too cute, but he was too far away for me to get a good shot which was unfortunate. I blew up what I had but by that point I didn't have enough pixels to keep it. It rained on us several days and although I wish it hadn't, it was really good for the fires around us. #10833903Rita K. Connell September 05, 2013
what a great shot, were these people in your group or were you just with your family. the BW and works but I am without a doubt would like the color one better more a natural girl. I like the feel that they are unaware of you taking the picture. very nice shot #10834578Jeff E Jensen September 06, 2013
Debbie - we got rained on as we were tearing down camp, so everything got wet. Fun.Rita - these were just some people enjoying the view, I was there with my family.
Here's the color version. #10834882
